Following the World of Outlaws North, Dustin Sorensen made the haul to Independence (Iowa) Motor Speedway on Monday afternoon for the $10,000-to-win Storm Shield Shootout.
Among 27 Super Late Models, Sorensen finished fifth in his heat race and started 15th in the 40-lap feature where he'd gain two spots to finish 13th.
With a quick turnaround to Hamilton County Speedway (Webster City, Iowa) on Tuesday, Dustin started 16th and finished 10th to record a Top-10 outing.
After an off-day on Wednesday, the team rolled into I-94 Speedway (Fergus Falls, Minn.) on Thursday before rain showers washed out the evening.
The following night at River Cities Speedway (Grand Forks, N.D.) was also rained out and postponed to Sunday, June 30th.
Dodging the rain at Norman County Raceway (Ada, Minn.) on Saturday, Sorensen started 15th and finished 16th in the $15,000-to-win A-Main.
For Sunday's make-up event at River Cities Speedway (Grand Forks, N.D.), Dustin sailed to his second Top-10 finish of the week with a seventh-place finish in the 40-lap feature.
Sorensen is currently ninth in the series point standings.
