Tristan Chamberlain treks North with World of Outlaws; hard charger at Hamilton County

Embarking on a week-long World of Outlaws trip, the HW Gibson team made the haul to Independence (Iowa) Motor Speedway on Monday afternoon for the Storm Shield Shootout.

Finishing sixth in his stacked heat race, Chamberlain started 18th in the 40-lap feature and made up two spots to finish 16th.

Right back in action on Tuesday at Hamilton County Speedway (Webster City, Iowa), Tristan started towards the rear but stormed through the field during the feature event and gained 10 positions to finish 12th.

After an off-day on Wednesday, the team rolled into I-94 Speedway (Fergus Falls, Minn.) on Thursday before rain showers washed out the evening.

The following night at River Cities Speedway (Grand Forks, N.D.) was also rained out and postponed to Sunday, June 30th.

Finally avoiding the rain on Saturday, Chamberlain scored another strong outing with a 10th-place finish at Norman County Raceway (Ada, Minn.).

Wrapping up the trip at River Cities Speedway (Grand Forks, N.D.) for it's rain date, Tristan fell back in the 40-lap feature and finished 18th.

Chamberlain is currently 14th in the series point standings.
